Since we are supposed to write about our home town, here I go.
Slupia Wielka is a small village where everybody knows everybody. That is what I hate about this place. People there seem to be interested in everything which should not concern them. I remember myself being "young and stupid", doing things my parents shouldn't know about :) And somehow, they always knew what/when/with whom (!) I was doing :) However, now, when I spend most of the time in Poznan, I miss this village. I like spending time there, especially in spring time. There's a big park, where people go for a walk, children play, men drink beer, "grandmas" gossip :)
I like sitting on the bench there, talking about everything with my best friend, breathing fresh air :) Here is what a part of the park looks like:
Ah! almost forgot! This is how I used to commute to high school in Sroda Wlkp. :

"And somehow, they always knew what/when/with whom (!) I was doing :)" ekhm...and I will leave like this,.."the rest is silence:D".
But seriously,I drove near your village the other dy but it was dark and couldn't see a thing:P
BTW that was me who posted above - your Chi Town vanilla-latte loving friend. :)
Sounds like a nice place to visit, but perhaps a bit difficult live in, especially if you like privacy. And who doesn't? Thanks for joining the project :)
I love the part of the park you've wrote about and I would love to see it all:)
