SILENCE! I KILL YOU!

I've been thinking whom to recommend to you.. I think there is not one, particular person I admire that is why this topic is quite difficult for me.

After some time, I've decided to write about JEFF DUNHAM. Probably some of you know him already. He is a famous comedian and a great entertainer. Dunham has voiced a few characters:
- Walter
- Peanut

- Jose Jalapeno on a Stick
- Bubba J
- Sweet Daddy D.
- Melvin the Superhero Guy
- Achmed the Dead Terrorist.
I assume you've all seen Achmed the Dead Terrorist and you know the most famous phrase of the last two years: Silence! I kill you :) However, my favourite character from those mentioned above is Peanut. He often makes fun of Jeff and Jose Jalapeno. Jeff and Peanut are amazing. They always make me laugh. The only problem is that they sometimes talk too fast and it's difficult for me to understand them :p
If you have the same problem I recommend Jeff's Polish Website to you: http://www.jeffdunham.pl where you can watch his performances with Polish subtitles :)
By the way, Jeff Dunham's Christmas Special is a must to see :)

I know from facebook that Jeff is coming with his tour to Europe. It's a shame he will not perform in Poland. I would love to see him live :)

MY LIFE IN FIVE YEARS...

As probably most of us, I would like to imagine myself being surrounded by people I love, in a nice house, having a well-paid job :P

I assume that in about five years from now I will finally win a million or two in a lotto lottery. I buy those coupons so often that one day it has to pay off :p This will be THE day when Marek and I will move to our dream house. We have waited for this moment for a couple of years..
I wake up tired because I did not sleep well the previous night. I was too excited and nervous to sleep. Marek is already awake. He packs last things to the cardboard boxes. At 9am the lorry "przeprowadzki z Tomkiem" comes and some tall, strong men ( probably Tom and his friends :P) help us to carry the whole stuff down. I didn't know that moving out is so time-consuming. I have not realized that we've managed to accumulate so many things for the last four years. It's 8pm when we finally sit at our new table, in our new kitchen and drink tea. At 7pm we picked our twins from Marek's parents. The kids sleep already so we have time for ourselves. We are tired but happy... THE END :P

BARACK OBAMA

I can say that these elections were important for my family because for the first time my sister, as a citizen of the USA, could vote :)

Everyone talks about a change we are to witness. Well, I don't think there will be any, apart from the fact that for the first time in the history America has a black president. It's common knowledge that people who want to win some elections make a lot of promises. However, at the end, it turns out that they don't keep their given words. I'd like to believe that this time it will be different...

Apart from all, I wish Obama luck. I hope he'll be a good president of the country my sister lives in.

MY TEACHING PRACTICE

As you probably know, I graduated from University of Economics over two years ago. I studied logistics there, and although I liked it, I couldn't imagine myself working in logistics for the whole life. I always wanted to study English (God knows why I had not done it earlier:P), that's why in March 2006 I decided to go our college. Since I took the old matura I had to pass the entrance exam. So apart from studying for my final exam at the universtity, I was revising my English :) The exams were very easy and as you can see I managed to pass them and I am happy to be a student again :D

After two years, I definitely know that I want to be a teacher. I started my teaching practice in high school (the 9th one, in Poznan) and I loved it. Before the first lesson I taught I was very nervous. I knew that I could expect everything :) But in fact everything went great. I felt that my decision about studying English to become a teacher was right. Apart from the fact that my lessons went ok, my mentor teacher told me that she would like to see me among the teachers of her high school. That was the best compliment ever :)

My childhood memories..

It's already a month after Christmas and I haven't managed to write about my Christmas memories till now :P Well, what I remember is that I loved when my whole family gathered at my grandma's. There were times when there were about twenty of us at one table :) that was fun. Now my sister and my cousins have their own families and the situation looks a little bit different. Unfortunately, we don't meet together so often.
What I also remember is that on Christmas Eve I used to sleep in the afternoon because I couldn't wait to our dinner and I wanted time to pass quicker :D I may have looked like that then:

I also recall the day when I learned that Santa didn't exist. I saw my dad putting Christmas gifts under the Christmas tree. I was so disappointed then! I went to my sister to tell her everything and somehow she knew that already ;-)
